Ultimately, the idea of Manifest Destiny had a great impact in the history of the United States and its development. There were difficult times, but Americans believed that through those times there were going to be great outcomes. The story of the Manifest Destiny also reflected how much the United States worked, but also involved itself in problems such as taking over the Cherokee tribe’s land. Even today, the United States is still developing. There are more aspects that make the United States than there were when the government was thinking about the expansion out to the west. Instead of fighting for more power, the government should focus on the betterment of society and its people, without the advancement of the country as a whole, what is the purpose of gaining more power in front of other countries? Without citizens supporting the government, it's like the government fighting against two subjects, other countries and its citizens and residents.
